pawe jagus mayPaweł Jaguś

President of the Board Qumak

Paweł Jaguś has a technical university education completed at the AGH, Krakow-based University of Science and Technology, yet it is management that has been his true passion from the very beginning of his professional work. The fresh university graduate began work in industry, in an electronic lab, where he enjoyed stellar progression from a young specialist to a leader of a research group involved in power electronics projects.

[toggle title=”read more” on=”0″]

For several years he worked in industry, gradually extending the scope and responsibility of the areas he managed. Joining Qumak – a small IT business back then – he was leaving behind a well organised maintenance department of Poland’s largest steelworks. The sheer number of 700 technicians and engineers he was leading speaks volumes of the scale of his tasks.

Following the standard scenario, Paweł Jaguś was learning his new company by moving upwards, from working in Qumak’s technical department and organising it through managerial positions. After a few years as Vice-President of Krakow-based Qumak and Warsaw-based Sekom when the companies merged in 2006 he became Board Chairman of a single business which, mainly thanks to efficient and committed team work and emphasis on the development of staff competences, has grown from a local player to one of Poland’s three largest IT integrators.

In his professional life Paweł Jaguś delights in management by values. In private, he finds satisfaction in family life and sport, skiing since always and golf since recently.
