Barbara Nowakowska has been managing PSIK for 12 years, working for promotion and development of private equity/venture capital industry in Poland and representing interests of the Polish private equity community. Barbara Nowakowska served as an expert on the Polish private equity and venture capital at the European Commission.
Prior to joining PSIK in 2003, Barbara Nowakowska was a board member of an independent Polish telecom operator El-Net S.A. Barbara Nowakowska holds an MA degree in economics.

Till Burges joined HarbourVest’s London-based subsidiary in 2006 as an associate in the primary partnership group and became a vice president in 2010. Till focuses on researching, monitoring, and reporting on European partnership investments.

Prior to joining the Firm, Till worked for six years as a consultant at Bain & Company in the U.K. and Germany, where he focused on projects including commercial due diligence, post-merger integration, and organic company growth. Till received a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Applied Science in Lübeck, Germany in 1999 and an MBA from IESE, Universidad de Navarra, in Barcelona, Spain in 2004. Originally from Germany, Till speaks German, French, and Spanish.

Przemysław Gdański graduated at the University of Gdańsk (MSc. In Economics) and completed a one-year program in international banking and finance at Loughborough University in the UK. In 2012 completed AMP at IESE. He has over 20 years of experience in corporate and investment banking.

From 1993 to 1995 he worked for IBP Bank SA, then for ABN AMRO Bank in Poland, Romania and in the headquarters in Amsterdam. From 2002 to 2006 he was the Managing Director of Large Corporates Division in BPH Bank. From May to November 2006 – CEO and General Director of Calyon Bank Polska and Calyon SA Branch in Poland. In November 2006 he took the position of Deputy CEO in BPH Bank, responsible for corporate banking and real estate financing. After the merger of part of BPH Bank and Pekao SA – Deputy CEO of Pekao SA, responsible for Corporate Banking, Markets and Investment Banking in Division.

Member of the Management Board of mBank since November, 2008. Currently Vice President of the Management Board, responsible for Corporate and Investment Banking.

Mr. Piotr Linke has a Master’s degree in Finance and Statistics from the Warsaw School of Economics and a degree in Economic Science from the University of Warsaw. He completed an Advanced Executive Education program in Strategic Leadership at the Harvard Business Review and Canadian International Management Institute.

From 1984 till 1991, he worked in the Treasury Department of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A., in Vereins- und Westbank AG in Hamburg, in DG Bank AG, and in Mitteleuropäische Handelsbank AG in Frankfurt. Mr. Linke joined Bank Creditanstalt S.A. in Warsaw in 1991 and worked as executive director responsible for setting up and management of the bank’s Treasury Department till 1998.

From 1998 till 2011, he held Senior Vice President and COO positions and later the CEO of the fund management company DWS Polska TFI S.A. in Deutsche Bank Group. Mr. Linke was simultaneously a Senior Vice President and COO of Deutsche Asset Management S.A. from 2000 till 2005.

From 2011 till 2013, he was the CEO of Poland Consulting Sp. z o.o.

Since September 2014, Mr. Linke has been working for the fund management company TFI BGK S.A., first as the head of the Operations Department, and since February 2015 as the CEO.

As a senior member of the LMM team, Marco manages investments in lower mid-market, mezzanine, hybrid debt/equity and debt funds across Europe. To date, he has completed 30+ investments, representing aggregate commitments of more than EUR 1.05bn. He serves on the investors’ Advisory Board of 32 funds.

Prior to joining EIF in January 2009, he worked in direct investments as a senior Investment Manager at Innogest Capital, an Italian VC fund focused on early stage investments.

Previous appointments include Project and Engagement Manager at Capgemini (2001 to 2004), where he successfully led large management consulting engagements, and Ernst & Young Consultants, where he started his career in 1998.
Marco holds a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Polytechnic of Turin (Italy).

She has several years of management experience and has worked in the following financial institutions: Austrian brokerage firm Allfinanz, Skarbiec Asset Management Holding and, for several years, she has been associated with HR consulting industry.

Originator and President of the Executive Club, the most elite association of top management. She is responsible for the strategy of the club which integrates the business elite, and is a platform for exchange of ideas and inspiration for the top management.

Rafał joined KPMG in 2000 and is Head of Private Equity Group in KPMG in Poland responsible for the relationship between KPMG’s dedicated team of partners with private equity houses.

The KPMG Private Equity team includes partners specializing in deal origination, tax structuring, valuations, due diligence, audit and operational advisory. One of the goals of the aforementioned team is the wide promotion of private equity among owners and the public. In addition, Rafał is also responsible for the management and coordination of numerous audit engagements and, together with Marek Gajdziński, for managing the Knowledge Management Department within KPMG.

Michał Wrzesiński for nearly 20 years is engaged in conducting mergers and acquisitions. He has advised on over 40 M&A transactions, the total amount of more than 4 billion PLN. He started his career at MC Concordia as a Partner, where he was responsible for equity transactions, then for over 5 years he head of corporate finance department at Rabobank,

and then he was a partner and founder of Navigator Capital and DM Navigator. In 2014 operationally involved in the MBO Group He is also Professor of School of Economics, where in particular he is specialized in private equity issues. In 2008 he defended his habilitation in the field of efficiency of private equity funds.
