She has worked on a number of projects with private equity and venture capital funds and advised on many restructuring processes, including establishment of funds and mergers. She advises banks, financial institutions, and business enterprises on agreements for provision of financing, including credit agreements and bond issue agreements. Her legal work has also covered debt restructuring, securitisation transactions, and purchase of receivables.

PLJanusz Lewandowski

Chairman of the Economic Council of the Prime Minister

Janusz Lewandowski (born in 1951) – holder of PhD in economics, Member of European Parliament. For two years and a half, he was in charge of the European Parliament’s Budget Committee, and then he took the position of its deputy chairman. In the years 2010-2014, he was the EU Commissioner for Financial Programming and the Budget. In 2014, he was elected to the European Parliament again.

During his professional lifetime he was working in audit, consulting and IT companies in Poland and abroad i.e. in New Zealand and USA.

Between 2001 and 2007 he worked as external auditor at KPMG, where he was promoted up to manager level. Ireneusz was responsible for audit of financial statements of companies listed on Warsaw and London Stock Exchange as well as development of new practice in Wroclaw.

In 2007 he joined Tieto, where he started as a finance director of Polish, Czech and Belarus companies. On the top of his finance duties he was responsible for number of projects aiming to improve financial operations of his corporation e.g. migration of finance functions to SSC. He has been responsible as Finance Business Partner for CEE&Russia and New Markets. Currently, he is working with new business unit: Networking and Connected Products and he is also a Country Manager in Poland.

Ireneusz is member of ZPPL Lewiatan supervisory board, member of ACCA national council, SEL and MBA at WSB lecturer and CSR expert.

In this free time he is jogging, swimming and is keen on reading modern history. He lives in Wroclaw with his wife and 2 daughters.

He coordinated cooperation with advisory firms, global investment banks and investors. He was responsible for the promotion of Poland’s financial and capital markets to international investors. His responsibilities included the oversight and supervision of a number of companies, including those in the financial sector, in which the State Treasury is a significant shareholder. He coordinated the development and implementation of the dividend policy of the Treasury.

From 2010 to 2012 at Wood & Co, an independent investment bank focused on Central and Eastern Europe, Paweł Tamborski fulfilled the role of Head of Investment Banking.

Previously, from 1994 at Unicredit Group (at the time CAIB, part of Creditanstalt Bankverein AG). Before that at Bank Staropolski SA, where he started his career in the capital markets as a securities broker and helped to establish one of the first brokerage operations in Poland, after which he joined the brokerage arm of Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy S.A. (now Bank Zachodni WBK SA).

At Unicredit CAIB, he was in charge of the investment banking team in Warsaw (Head of Investment Banking and Member of the Executive Board of Unicredit CAIB Poland). From 2008 he was co-head of the London Equity Capital Markets team responsible for Central and Eastern Europe (ECM CEE).

During his career at Unicredit Group, Paweł Tamborski was responsible for advising many of the largest domestic and international corporates, entrepreneurs and investors on a wide variety of public and non-public market transactions. These included issuance of equities, bonds, and convertible bonds, as well as mergers and acquisitions, and privatisation transactions.
