Dariusz Sip has nearly two decades of experience in the agricultural sector. He currently oversees Syngenta’s business in Poland, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, where he drives the growth of the company’s crop protection and field crop seeds business. He holds a degree in agronomy with a specialization in plant protection from the Poznań University of Life Sciences, as well as an Executive MBA from the Poznań–Atlanta program at the Poznań University of Economics.

Jakub Olipra holds a PhD in Economics. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), where he works as an Assistant Professor at the Applied Economics Department. Lecturer at the MBA programme at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Since 2015 at Credit Agricole Bank Polska, where he is responsible for macroeconomic and agri-food sector analyses. Author of numerous scientific publications, articles, commentaries and expert opinions. He ranked in top places in the competition for best forecasts of agricultural commodities prices organised by the Rzeczpospolita. In 2021 he was appointed a Knight of the French Order of Agricultural Merit (Ordre du Mérite Agricole).

Appointed Deputy President of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture in October 2024. He holds a postdoctoral degree in agricultural, forestry, and veterinary sciences and a doctorate in agricultural sciences in agronomy. He has over 25 years of experience implementing modern techniques and technologies in precision and smart agriculture.

I was born on August 2, 1954 in Seroczyn. I have been a titular professor of economics since 2002. My achievements consist of more than 300 scientific publications, including 20 book publications. I have promoted about 2,000 master’s and bachelor’s degrees and 19 PhDs. In my scientific and teaching work, I deal with issues:

Public finance
Corporate finance
Social and economic insurances
Agricultural policy and agricultural economics

From 1993 to 2005, I served as Vice-Dean and Dean of the Faculty (currently Economics) at University of Life Sciences and from 2019 to 2022 as Director of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute. For another term, I am a member of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a member of the Council on Agriculture and Rural Affairs to the President of the Republic of Poland, and a member and former president of the Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists.
