Michał Benet is a graduate of the Faculty of Animal Science and the Faculty of Agricultural Economics, majoring in EU Funding in Agriculture, at the Lublin Agricultural University. He has been involved in the agri-food processing industry since the beginning of his career, and has been working in the dairy industry as a nutritional advisor for 15 years.

Graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Agriculture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She completed postgraduate studies in the field of: “Risk management and management control in the public sector” – University of Warsaw; “Media Studies and Information Management” – Warsaw University of Life Sciences; “Business Intelligence – Business Decision Support Systems” – Warsaw School of Economics, four-year doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

Author and co-author of scientific and specialized publications on agricultural markets, mechanisms of the Common Agricultural Policy, agri-food trade, promotion of Polish food and rural development.

At the National Support Center for Agriculture, she is involved in market analyses of broadly defined issues of the agri-food sector. She actively participates in the work of expert groups on the functioning of agricultural markets, agricultural policy and development processes in agriculture and rural areas.

Prof. Marcin Gołębiewski, PhD, DSc

A graduate of the Faculty of Animal Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, obtaining, with honours, the degree of Master of Science in zootechnics. He received the PhD degree in zootechnics in 2010, the DSc degree in agricultural sciences in the discipline of zootechnics and fisheries in 2018, and the title of professor in 2025. He completed postgraduate studies entitled Innovation Manager at the Warsaw School of Economics. A practicing breeder who has been running his own farm since 2005. Vice-chairman of the Breeding Council of the Polish Union of Meat Cattle Breeders and Producers. He is co-owner and Board Member of five start-ups, where he successfully implements his ideas into business practice. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Director of the Institute of Animal Science and Chairman of the Discipline Council for the discipline of animal science and fisheries. Member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – PIB until 2024. Currently a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zootechnics PIB and the Institute of Wincenty Witos. In 2018, he received the badge of honour of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development “ Distinguished Service to Agriculture” and the “Bronze Medal for Long Service”.

Vice President of the Management Board, Director General of the Polish Federation of Food Producers, Employers’ Union, Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly „Food Lex,” Member of the Council of the Employers’ and Entrepreneurs’ Union, and Member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. He represents the Polish Federation of Food Producers (PFPŻ) in Food Drink Europe, the largest European food industry organization. He has been involved in the food industry for over 25 years, focusing on management, marketing, public relations, and corporate social responsibility. He is the author of numerous publications and analyses on the food market and the food economy.

Founder of the family company TRANS-ROL, established in 1994 from an agricultural farm. Together with his wife Grażyna, he manages the company, which is one of the key suppliers to the Polish agri-food sector, operating in the retail and wholesale markets throughout the country. TRANS-ROL, as an authorized distributor of, among others, Grupa Azoty, Luvena S.A. and Pfeifer & Langen, offers a wide range of fertilizers, feeds and agricultural inputs. The company has modern storage, logistics and machinery facilities and adheres to the highest feed safety standards (GMP+ certificate). It actively supports the development of agriculture by organizing periodic training courses and conferences with the participation of scientists and practitioners. The achievements of TRANS-ROL and its owners have been repeatedly awarded, including the Medal of the Centenary of Regained Independence, the Golden Cross of Merit and the titles of Agro-Entrepreneur of the Republic of Poland and Champion of the National Agro-League.
