Jacek Socha, from 2005 to 2020 Vice President of PwC in Poland. He joined PwC in December 2005 and has since advised numerous Polish and international companies. As Minister of the State Treasury in the government of Marek Belka (2004–2005), he successfully oversaw several privatization transactions via the Warsaw Stock Exchange, including those of PKO BP, PGNiG, and Lotos.
As Chairman of the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission from 1994 to 2004, he played a key role in developing regulations for the Polish capital market and aligning Polish law with EU standards. He was also involved in listing many companies now traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. His work on the Polish capital market began in 1990 at the Ministry of Ownership Transformations in the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
From 1982 to 1990, he worked at the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Jacek Socha was instrumental in creating corporate governance standards in Poland and co-authored the first set of principles approved by the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2002.
He was also Vice President of the Polish Golf Association.
He currently serves on the supervisory boards of mTFI SA, ONDE SA, and BIOAGRA SA, and is a member of the Bridge for Business Foundation.
