Professor Jerzy Małachowski is a graduate of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. His scientific, research, and implementation work focuses on three main areas: the development of testing methods for materials and structures; the advancement of computational research and simulation analysis related to safety and defense; and the development of testing methods in biomedical engineering.

He has led numerous projects and participated as a contributor in over 30 initiatives focused on scientific, development, and implementation work. From 2016 to 2024, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Military University of Technology. Since June 2024, he has been serving as Director of the National Centre for Research and Development.
