Professor Krzysztof Obłój is a renowned expert in organizational strategy and international management. He has lectured at prestigious institutions abroad, including ISM University of Management and Economics, University of Illinois, Yale University, BI Norwegian Business School, ESCP Business School, Bled School of Management, and Sun Yat-sen University. He was a co-founder and long-time director of the Warsaw-Illinois Executive MBA program, as well as a co-founder of the International Management School and Kozminski University.

He also served as President of the European International Business Academy and, in 2006, was elected a Fellow of the association. He has been a long-standing member of the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of International Business (AIB), and the European Academy of Management.

Professor Obłój is the author of more than 150 academic articles, and his books have been published in the United States and Europe, including Management Systems (1993), Winning: Continuous Improvement Theory in High Performance Organizations (1995), Emerging Economies and Firms in the Global Crisis (Palgrave Macmillan, London, 2012), and Passion and Discipline of Strategy (New York, 2014). His latest books published in Poland — Passion and Discipline of Strategy (2010, 2016), The Practice of Company Strategy (2017), and Strategic Thinking (2022) — became bestsellers on the Polish market.

Professor Obłój also has extensive practical experience. He has served as a member or chairman of the supervisory boards of companies such as PZU, Orlen, Polenergia, Prochem, Nowy Styl, Mostostal Zabrze, Colian, Alior Bank, Euro Bank, and Ambra. He also served as a social advisor to President Bronisław Komorowski (2012–2015) and is a member of the board of the Stefan Batory Foundation.
