I was born on August 2, 1954 in Seroczyn. I have been a titular professor of economics since 2002. My achievements consist of more than 300 scientific publications, including 20 book publications. I have promoted about 2,000 master’s and bachelor’s degrees and 19 PhDs. In my scientific and teaching work, I deal with issues:

From 1993 to 2005, I served as Vice-Dean and Dean of the Faculty (currently Economics) at University of Life Sciences and from 2019 to 2022 as Director of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute. For another term, I am a member of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a member of the Council on Agriculture and Rural Affairs to the President of the Republic of Poland, and a member and former president of the Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists.
