Panel: Health and Wellbeing at Work and in Retirement

MODERATOR
Michał Dobrołowicz – a radio journalist with over 15 years of experience, Doctor of Social Sciences (PhD from the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Warsaw in 2021), a regular contributor to the magazine “Plus Minus” – the weekend edition of “Rzeczpospolita.” He is a recipient of awards for medical journalists, including the Healthy Pen Award, the “Healthcare Success of the Year” title in the “Media” category, the Crystal Pen, and the 2024 “Golden Otis” award. In 2025, his first book about the helpline and its significance for the mental health of contemporary Poles will be published.

Prof. Rafał Ohme, expert in the field of emotions, brain and technology. Founder of Mindset and iCode companies that create innovative tools for HR and marketing.

Paweł Żochowski, Director of the Medical Department of the Business Services Division at Medicover, is responsible for the standards of medical services at Medicover Poland medical centers across the country, training of medical staff, creation of health products, and implementation of innovations.
Paweł is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw majoring in medicine. He began his career by working at the Cardiology Clinic of WUM. From 2013 to 2017, he was involved in the development of modern IT solutions for medical offices and clinics.
From 2017 to 2023 he was associated with the PZU Group, where he was responsible for, among other things, the development of medical systems and the patient portal, the construction of the Telemedical Center, and the implementation of innovative services with an emphasis on online channels. He is the creator of the award-winning COVID-19 Remote Care program, and from 2022 served as Director of the PZU Health Medical Office.

Since June 2017, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Administration and Public Procurement Division. Associated with the Social Insurance Institution (Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych) since 2003, initially as Deputy Director of the Internal Audit Department, and since 2012 as Director of the Audit Department.
Graduate of economics as well as postgraduate studies in financial and managerial accounting and commercial insurance. Certified internal auditor.
Between 2020 and 2022, he led the team and coordinated efforts that resulted in the Social Insurance Institution taking over the administration of family benefits: the “Dobry Start” benefit (300+), the childcare benefit (800+), followed by the Family Care Capital and subsidies for childcare in nurseries.
On his initiative in 2021, the Social Insurance Institution gained access to the Procurement Platform service, enabling all organizational units of ZUS to conduct electronic public procurement procedures. The implemented platform ensures full digitalization of the public procurement process at ZUS.
He is the originator and pioneer of the innovative digitization process at ZUS. The introduction of efficient access to documents in electronic form using innovative solutions such as OCR was awarded in the ISSA Good Practice Awards competition for 2022.

Paweł Żuk, M.D. – Co-founder and for nearly 25 years President of the Management Board of Centrum Medyczno-Diagnostyczne Sp. z o.o. (CMD). He actively participates in the activities of the working groups at the Ministry of Health and the National Health Fund developing POZ programs. He is one of the leaders of the “Know the Value of Care” project, which is working on a new model of POZ care in Poland. He is a lecturer at the MBA program in health care at Łazarski University in Warsaw. He has been working with the European Commission as a SANTE expert since 2017. He is a member of the Polish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology. He is a member of the international advisory committees of EURIPA and EPCCS. He has served as President of EURIPA Poland since 2019. He became Manager of the Year 2018 of private medical providers in the competition of the Termedia publishing house.
