Polish Infrastructure & Construction is a meeting of industry leaders that enjoys great esteem on the market and gathers the most important representatives of the sector every year.
15th edition will be an opportunity to discuss topics related to the financing and development of road investments, new technologies in the service of infrastructure, and the dynamics of rail transportation development. The conference is aimed at the management staff of Polish and foreign companies from the infrastructure and construction sectors as well as representatives of local authorities and public administration.
The conference will culminate with the formal “Infrastructure & Construction Diamonds” gala, awarding the most distinguished entities in the industry.

In 2003, he defended his master's thesis at the University of Rostock in Germany, and in 2020 he completed his MBA studies at EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial (Business School) in Madrid. From the beginning of his professional career, he has been associated with general contracting. In the years 2003-2006 he held positions: from Site Manager to Technical Director. He has been associated with the Acciona Group since 2006. On behalf of the Spanish company, in 2006-2008 he supervised the modernization of the national road No. 7 in the Kiezmark - Jazowa section in Poland. In 2008-2009, he also coordinated the multi-stage process of preparing the offer of the Mostostal Warszawa / Acciona Infraestructuras consortium for the construction of the second metro line in Warsaw. In the years 2009-2013 he was the Technical Director at Acciona Infraestructuras Branch in Poland. From 2014, he managed the Controlling and Purchasing Department at Mostostal Warszawa S.A. As the Controlling and Purchasing Director, he was also responsible for managing the procurement process for one of the Company's largest contracts - the construction of power units no. 5 and 6 at the Opole Power Plant. On May 5, 2017, by decision of the Supervisory Board, he was appointed to the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. Since 9 May 2018, he has been Vice President of the Management Board. He is also a Member of the Management Board in Mostostal Power Development Sp. z o.o. and sits on the Supervisory Boards of subsidiaries of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. (Mostostal Płock S.A., Mostostal Kielce S.A. and AMK Kraków S.A.). He is a member of the Council of the Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers for the term 2020-2024 and a member of the Council of the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce for the term 2022-2024.
Dr inż. Norbert Kurek

Norbert Kurek is a graduate of the Gdansk University of Technology, where he graduated with a degree in Geotechnical Construction. He also earned a doctorate in engineering sciences in construction. He completed an internship at Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. He completed postgraduate studies in project management at the Warsaw University of Applied Sciences and specialized studies in geotechnics and environmental engineering at the Gdansk University of Technology. He is also a graduate of the MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics. He began his professional career in 2004 as a member of Prof. Dr. hab. Zbigniew Sikor’s team. Since 2006 he worked at Soletanche Polska as a site engineer and then as a site manager in the realisation department. Since 2009, he has been Manager of the soil improvement department and has developed the company’s strategy in this area and its market position. In 2011 he started working at Menard Polska as Deputy CEO and Central branch director. Since 2019 Norbert Kurek has also been CEO/Board Member of REMEA. Norbert Kurek is an expert with more than 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. He has been involved in the development of numerous projects. The team of REMEA specialists under his leadership has carried out thousands of studies throughout Poland and many successful remedies. Examples of such projects include the revitalisation of the area after the former Orzegów coking plant in Ruda Śląska, the renovation work on the site of the former Zachem S. A. chemical works in Bydgoszcz or the innovative work on the Kalina pond in Świętochłowice. The result of his work is also 25 scientific and technical publications in polish and foreign journals, of which he is the author or co-author.

Jerzy Lejk - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Member of the Committee on Transport of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He defended his doctoral dissertation at the Poznań University of Technology in the discipline of transport. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology where he was awarded the title of Master of Civil Engineering. He completed a post-graduate course “MBA for Engineers” at the Koźmiński University. He started his career at the Development Planning Department of the City of Warsaw, after which he expanded his knowledge and experience at the Warsaw Province Governor's Office, Municipal Roads Authority and in Budimex S.A. He was Deputy Mayor of Warsaw between 1994 and 1999. He has been working at Metro Warszawskie since 2002, first as Deputy Director, and further as Management Board Member at Metro Warszawskie Sp. z o.o. As Management Board Member, he was responsible for Metro extension and operations. He has served as the President of the Management Board since January 2006. He is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology. He conducts teaching and research activities at the Department of Geotechnics, Bridges and Underground Structures. He took part in numerous specialised professional training courses in construction and environmental protection from the perspective of European Union laws, in public procurement and management of investment processes. For three terms, between 2013-2019, he represented Poland at the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) as Policy Board Member.
Anna Łopaciuk

Expert in investment project financing. She has been working in banking industry since 2012, where she was mainly involved in the evaluation and financing of investments in both the private and public sectors and also in market analyses in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Since 2016, she has been working at BGK, Polish development bank. She currently serves as the director of the Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics program and is also a manager in the Strategic Relations Department, which provides, among other things, substantive support for the analysis of PPP projects. Prior to joining BGK, she worked at PKO BP and PBP SA.

The goal of the competition is to promote individuals and companies associated with the infrastructure and construction sector with outstanding achievements in terms of implementation and economic efficiency. The Diamonds show the added value that infrastructure and construction investments bring to the development of the Polish economy. Participation in the competition is an opportunity to present the achievements and activities of the company and exhibit the brand among the most important representatives of the industry.
The winners will be announced on 19 March 2024 as part of the 15th edition of the “Polish Infrastructure & Construction” conference. Traditionally, the industry’s most prominent representatives will be honored at the Evening Awards Gala.
